Health & Fitness Prescription Program
            For those who do not want to workout every session with a trainer or watching their budget.

     While it’s true that people who exercise with our fitness consultants more often produce greater results in less time, many people don’t want to work with a fitness consultant every training session.  When you participate in The Center’s Health & Fitness Prescription Program, our consultants take you through a series of assessments, and based on these findings, they will design a healthy diet and exercise plan for you to do on your own while at home, at your fitness club, or while you are traveling.  Re-assess every 12 weeks and receive new workout plans for your new goals. No matter where you are, we can help!

Heart Rate & Calories - Learn how many calories you burn for your heart rates.

        
No Calculations, We Eliminate the Guesswork!  Traditional calculations can be inaccurate by as much as 20 to 30 beats per minute.  That's why we measure your oxygen and carbon dioxide levels with medical equipment while on a treadmill or bike in order to determine your precise heart rate ranges that directly affect your goals.  Some Heart Rate Ranges burn more fat, some burn more calories, others increase endurance, allow faster recovery, strengthen your heart, reduce your chances for overtraining and injuries, etc.  Not only will you reach your goal if you follow this prescription, but you will obtain it in less time.  Re-assess every 12 weeks.  As your heart rate ranges improve, your prescription will change accordingly, allowing you to progress faster.




Metabolic Assessment (RMR)

Once again, No Calculations, No Guesswork!  We measure your oxygen and carbon dioxide levels with medical equipment while you recline in a chair.  After we analyze the data, achieving your goal is as simple as adding 2 + 2.  This allows us to accurately determine how many calories you burn in a day.  With this information, we will teach you how much to eat in order to achieve your goals of weight loss, weight maintenance, or weight gain.  You will be able to eat based on your metabolism whether it’s slow or fast.

 

      Remember, the number one key factor for weight loss is how much food or calories you ingest in a given day vs. how many calories you burn in a day.  Healthy eating habits, cardiovascular exercise, and resistance training all help to result in weight loss, but the idea of calories in vs. calories out is the most important.

Postural Analysis Program

        
Your posture may affect daily living, injuries, aches & pains, sports performance, balance, etc.  Based on your postural analysis, we will provide methods and exercises that help promote proper posture and address your chronic problems.
        You will receive an exercise prescription with instructions and/or pictures in order to help you implement these new corrective methods and exercises into you current workout plan and daily habits. 
It is imperative that you re-assess in 12 weeks so that we can help you implement a maintenance program.

Cholesterol & Glucose

        We use the Cholestech LDX Analyzer.  It is certified by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) for accuracy.  Our staff is certified to perform these assessments and our facility has a Certificate of Waiver from CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments).  Results from the analysis include:
